The current SOLUSERV (GH) LIMITED management, with one working director, and two support directors as well as a highly experienced team of permanent and temporary + ad hoc staff are able to offer round the clock response to clients’ requirements.
The company is led by qualified and experienced well operations and engineering professionals with the requisite skills to suit the modern, demanding and highly technical Oil & Gas Industry.
Our know-how has been gained through intensive training and experience with Major Operators as wells as Major Service Companies operating in the North Sea, North Africa, West Africa and Countries of the Former Soviet Union including Russia and Kazakhstan.
The company has built capacity, with the development of a robust Well Operations Management System, Safety Management System and Quality Control and Assurance System.
Capabilities
Our personnel have had involvement with a wide spectrum of offshore (deepwater activities inclusive) and onshore activities for major independent operators and service companies. This has enabled us to be able to develop a variety of services including:

Soluserv Drilling Engineering Service:
Drilling Engineering is one of our core businesses, with core competencies in:
- Well Operations Management, both office and rig-site based, with extensive experience in the North Sea, North Africa, Former Soviet Union and other international locations.
- Well Planning and Design assisted by a variety of industry recognised planning software.
- Complex Well Planning; including ERD, Deep and Ultra-deep well planning, Multi-Lateral, Slimhole and Thru-Tubing, and wells with high H2S and high CO2 (Risk Assessment, HAZID, QRA, Peer-Assist and Engineering Design)
- Preparation of detailed Well Operations documents i.e. well operations manuals, recommended practices, drilling programmes, detailed procedure for drilling operations, etc.
- Well Engineering Design, casing design, well profile generation for cost effective design, drilling hydraulics optimisation etc.
- Quantitative Risk Assessment and Analysis (QRA) applications to Well Planning AFE Preparation and Implementation. Tie-In with Risk Assessment and HAZID.
- Drilling Cuttings Re-Injection (CRI) Feasibility, Geomechanical Modelling, Well Engineering, Equipment installation and Process Implementation.
Soluserv Well Operations and Engineering Service:
- Soluserv provides Well Integrity Management, including Well Examination Services as an Independent Competent auditor.
- Soluserv provides an independent, knowledgeable and practical technical input to review processes, and ensuring that the objectives of the procedure are achieved. This involves Quantitative risk assessment (QRA) and uses fault tree analysis (FTA) and failure mode effect and criticality analysis (FMECA).
- Soluserv provides “Peer-Reviewed” and “Peer-Assisted” engineering solutions to the drilling industry.
- Soluserv provides the “PEER-ASSIST” process – providing experienced assistance at all stages, giving assistance to optimise the well design, planning and rig operations.
- Soluserv provides contract or consultancy drilling and well servicing manpower. The service is specifically adapted to meet the needs of the independent contractor, as well as those of the client. Provision of marine & engineering staff in both onshore and offshore support to various offshore construction and development projects. Integrity and reliability is our aim.
- Soluserv can provide quality engineering, using an array of industry recognised software.
- Soluserv can undertake complete Wells Project Management right from conception through to detailed design, QRA budgeting exercises, programming and operations supervision for offshore and onshore operations.

Soluserv Oilfield Services:
Soluserv currently provides fabrication works and services to the mining industry in Ghana, from our base in Sekondi. The provision of oilfield tools rental as well as workshop, welding and inspection services forms part of the company’s future plans. Soluserv has acquired 4.31 acres of land, currently under development, at Shama, 20minutes drive from Takoradi for this purpose.
